How You can help

1. We are currently only accepting physical donations from our Amazon Wishlist, which is carefully curated each day based on the most urgent needs of food survivors and first responders. Because needs change quickly, our list is updated daily to ensure every item purchased is timely and essential. All items ship directly to Southern Oaks Church for immediate distribution.

Please note: We can only accept new, unopened items purchased directly from our wishlist.

Thank you for your generosity—your support is making a huge difference!

2. We are accepting gift cards and monetary donations.

These are incredibly helpful, as they give families the freedom to purchase exactly what they need (specific sizes, brands, or personal items) without requiring storage space.

In the wake of the devastating Kerr County flood, many individuals and families are left picking up the pieces—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. We invite churches and organizations to step in and stand in the gap by "adopting" someone impacted for the next 30 days. Whether it's a family or an individual, your church can offer vital support, encouragement, and guidance during this critical rebuilding period.

By adopting a family or person, you become a source of stability and compassion in the midst of crisis. Your church or organization will walk alongside them, helping them regain hope and rebuild their lives—one day at a time.

As an adopting church/organization, you will:
• Commit to walking with an individual or family for the next 30 days.

• Provide consistent prayer, emotional support, encouragement, and spiritual guidance.

• Assist them in creating Amazon Wishlists or online registries for items they need to recover and rebuild.

• Assign a point of contact (POC) from your church to stay in regular communication with them.

• Direct them to Southern Oaks Church for physical supplies (clothing, hygiene items, household basics) as needed.
