Women’s Sunday Morning Bible Study – New Study Begins April 27th!
Ladies, if your soul has been longing for rest—real rest—the kind that goes beyond naps and to-do lists, then this is for you.
Beginning Sunday, April 27th, we’ll gather for a Gospel Sharing Session with Harry Ingram. Then starting May 4th, we’ll dive into our new Women’s Bible Study: Rest for Your Soul by Wendy Blight — a beautiful and refreshing study that invites us to slow down, draw near to God, and find true rest in Him.

This summer, we’re cranking up the wonder and zooming in on just how amazing our God truly is. Vacation Bible School is happening June 23–26, 2025 (Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM), and you won’t want to miss it!
Our theme this year is MAGNIFIED, and it’s going to be a blast! Kids will explore the vastness of God’s creation—from galaxies to grasshoppers—and discover that no detail is too big or too small for our incredible God.
👧🧒 Ages: For children who have completed PreK/4 years old through completed 5th grade

Service Times & Location
We have two invigorating services with a laid-back feel where you will feel welcome and at home.
Southern Oaks Classic at 8:30am takes a more traditional approach to church with familiar hymns and an intimate atmosphere with a practical, relevant message.
Southern Oaks Contemporary at 10:45am has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with exciting, contemporary worship music and a practical, relevant message.
We are located at 122 Valley View, Kerrville, Texas 78028 next to Nimitz Elementary.

First Time Guests
What Should I Expect?
If you are visiting for the first time, you can expect a warm, relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Don't worry - we won't ask you to stand up and introduce yourself, we won't ask you for money, we just want you to feel welcome. We'll meet for about an hour with live worship music and an inspiring message.
What should I wear?
You'll find everything from casual to business clothes and everything in between. We just want you to come as you are!
What about my child?
During the 10:45 am service we provide childcare in the nursery and Children's Church in The Reef. Children are also welcomed to sit with their parents. We also have a cry room available incase your little one gets antsy, where you can still hear the sermon. We want your child to feel welcome too!

Serving Opportunities
One of the best ways to build relationships and connect with other believers at Southern Oaks is through serving together. If you are new to our church or have been attending for years, we invite you to fill out the serving form.
